Need For Speed Rivals

Need For Speed: Rivals. Great looking game, horrible controls on PC. Why let some monkey unaware of existence of MOUSE on PC do the conversion from console to PC?

They actually expect PC users to use ARROW KEYS to move cursor around. What idiotic idea. We live in 21st century, with touchscreens and computer mice being available for over a decade, apparently something people doing conversion were not aware of.

Another issue that is just plain stupid is this 10-15 minute intro that is unskippable and persists until you complete both tutorials, cops and racers, which are long enough that you need to dedicate an hour. If you stop at any point prior to finishing both, you have to start over at beginning, including stupid, uncool, 15 minute intro.

Top that off with idea that Racer side loses Speed Points (basically game money) if stopped and overall fragility of Racer selection of cars prior to them being upgraded, and if you want to play this game do yourself a favor and play a Cop, its far less frustrating of an experience. If you wind up playing a Racer, get around 498,000 Speed Points just to suddenly lose it all because of inherent game imbalance (there can be 8 cops, with roadblocks and helicopters, ... as racer, its just you), you might give up on otherwise decent game.

Graphics are great, although fps lock at 30 kinda sucks. MMO's should look like this instead of targeting computers still in use only in 3rd world countries.

I am aware of at least one car that is only available if you use Origin Overwatch (look it up if you care, its idiotic online BS system I am not interested in participating in). That is bad design decision and it ranks right up there with retailer exclusive preorder bonuses. Its what results in people who would not normally pirate video game turning to pirated versions just so they can get complete experience. Game publishers need to wise up. They are driving their own customer base away from giving them money.
